My Style: Ivory & Denim

Old, abandoned train tracks and bridges can make interesting settings for a photo shoot.  While exploring some historic sites, I wore a denim-on-denim look.  I hope the shredded denim look never goes out of style--I truly love the relaxed chicness of distressed material.  To the denim blues, I added a lovely ivory lace top and a handsome ivory purse.   Finishing the look, I added an assortment of rings, ombré sunglasses, and stunning Coach sandals in gunmetal grey.  Hope you like this outfit and, as always, I wish you the best day! Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Minty Fresh

I was very excited when Coach reached out to me, asking me to create an outfit with this beautiful purse and incorporate it into my personal style.  First, I added this pretty mint green, off-the-shoulder dress with crocheted lace trim.  Next, I added the amazing beaded sandals and wanted to draw in another color with the incredible dupioni silk knot headband.  Notice how the colors are iridescent, changing from light orange to deep orange as the light changes.  Lastly, I added more bohemian accents with the moon and crystal pendant necklace, two lovely rings, and stacked bracelets that bring everything together.  Hope you're having a great week.  Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Straight Up

Straight up who's ready for summer?! Many of us are planning for vacation trips, so I wanted to style an outfit that would be comfortable with heels for shopping or with sneakers for touring.  I'm loving the casual chicness of the striped high-low top with the shredded cutoffs.  I added an ombré chambray shirt for a little warmth and style. Speaking of style, you've got to take a closer look at the croc-textured zipper-trim heels.  These cut-out sandals with a chunky heel are amazingly comfortable as well as beautiful.  Throw on some cool shades and a fringe purse and you are so ready for a great day.   Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Earthbound x Arizona Girl

"Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair."
 -Khalil Gibran

Taking walks in the woods and looking at sunsets over the lakes have really helped me find more peace.  In line with this need for tranquility, I'm drawn towards, as you all well know, the more relaxed styles which the fashion industry refers to as bohemian, boho, or festival.  One of the best stores to find festival/bohemian styled clothing and accessories is Earthbound Trading Co. (EB).  I'm so happy their online store is now open!  Today's look is centered around a beautiful EB lace trimmed dress with a crocheted fringe hem.  I styled the look with EB accessories, including a fringe purse, floppy hat, bow and arrow earrings, an arm cuff, a sun pendant choker, and a few amazing rings.  To complete the look and to keep warm on a chilly spring afternoon, I added a vegan leather jacket and distressed combat boots.  I hope you take a break this week and walk through fields of tall grass or through some shady woods, finding relaxation and joy in the beauty of nature.  Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Striped Down

One of the coolest trends this spring is stripes with denim.  I selected a jersey knit shift dress with a striped print and a flowing silhouette.  The tailored fit top and the hem above the knee make this casual dress flattering for any body type and so comfy.  I added a little boho flair with a dangling coin statement necklace and a knotted crocheted head wrap.  For the denim piece, I chose an over-sized vest with dropped armholes.  My favorite accessory of the styling is the pair of "flatforms," also called flat platforms.  These espadrilles are chic and comfortable--perfect for your spring and summer wardrobes.  So, what do you think of the combination of stripes and denim trend?  Let me know how you combine the two this season.  :)  Xoxo, Shelly
